This spring, the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), in partnership with Portfolio Center, presents an exhibition honoring history and design through the medium of the chair. Stories in Form: Chair Design by the Portfolio Center runs February 5 through June 3, 2012.

Our design team spending their afternoon at the Woodruff Arts Center viewing the High's "Picasso To Warhol" Exhibit. Good times, good food and good company!

Hillarie Robbins and Lori Noell with Joel Robinson visited and toured the Nemshcoff factory in Sheboygan, WI with the ladies from Peacock Partnership late last month. As you can tell by looking at these pics, they had a great time, and because of it our partnerships with Nemschoff Has Strengthened greatly.

Corporate Environments was hands on in a recent community outreach project for CoreNet Atl.  The project called for volunteers to paint, rake, plant and construct an environment for participants in the "Nicholas House" charity. Tony Nelson sits on the board of directors for the CoreNet ATL group and encouraged  everyone from his staff to participate.

Nicholas House helps homeless families achieve self-sufficiency by providing a temporary place to live while identifying and addressing the root causes of their homelessness, so they never become homeless again.

This  app was designed to be a fun and casual idea starter for office interiors big and small. You will find inspiring examples from a variety of work environments in Corporate, Education, Healthcare, and Government settings. You will also meet the CE team ready to help you fulfill your workspace needs!

You can easily browse through furniture and architectural product categories including seating, collaborative spaces, worksation, casedgoods, private offices, conference rooms lobbies, modular walls and accessories. Once you find images that spark ideas, you can easily email them from within the app with questions or comments.

CE Sales Rep Susan Wilson was in attendance at this years Artopex Convention in Montreal, Canada, viewing new products and hearing new insight into the manufacturers product offerings. Artopex office furnishings is one of CE's newest and one of our premier office furniture lines.

Karen and Jeb Hughes are pictured here getting ready to attend the High Museum's Grand Opening for the exhibit "Picasso to Warhol - 14 Modern Masters". This Exhibition presents more than 100 works of art created by 14 of the most iconic artists from the 20th century: Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Constantin Brancusi, Piet Mondrian, Fernand Léger, Marcel Duchamp, Giorgio De Chirico, Joan Miró, Romare Bearden, Alexander Calder, Jackson Pollock, Louise Bourgeois, Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol. The exhibition will be one of the largest concentrations of modern art masterpieces to ever be exhibited in the southeastern United States.

The CE team was happy to attend Choate Construction's "Cars And 'Q For the Cause." The Choate parking lot was filled with stellar cars, super BBQ, and sweet music to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Corporate Environments won FIRST PLACE for the highest number of participants in the "Office Equipment/Computers/Electronics" Industry category at this year's Kaiser Permanente 5k Run/Walk! We had 68 (registered) Participants.

The Kaiser Permanente Corporate Run/Walk is designed to promote health, wellness and fitness among metro Atlanta companies and their employees.  A portion of proceeds benefits the Atlanta Braves Foundation and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The September 8th Corporate Run/Walk & Company Picnic attracts approximately 15,000 participants of all levels of fitness (walkers, joggers and competitive runners) from more than 400 Atlanta companies as well as hundreds of individual participants.

This year was CE's greatest turn out yet for the Kaiser Permanente 5k Run/Walk! We were so happy and excited to be joined by designers and sales people from Architecture firms, Interior Design firms and furniture manufacturers from around the city. Thank you to participants and sponsor alike!

Kurt Meyer is no stranger to a stream of successful project wins & installations. This project for JWT-Atlanta was no different! Kurt put in an amazing amount of effort in supporting "Interior Architects (IA)" to pull off the look of this sleek office space in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. This project consists of a collection of Knoll furniture including benching style workstations, meeting areas and lounge seating. Kurt and the Corporate Environments team were proud to be a part of such a noteworthy project.
